The Last Year

It's my senior year and I'm trying to make the days roll by faster. If only I could slow down my time in band. All I want is to play band repertoire for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, all that comes will pass eventually. This year, my one goal is to find a way to keep playing after high school. This year, I am going to find something outside of Hingham High School to commit myself to. I don't know what it will be, but it'll keep me from quitting the one thing I've enjoyed doing for eight years thus far. Playing the trombone is the only thing I can say I've committed to and actually followed through for any substantial amount of time. It's something that I love to do, and if I can keep that going for the rest of my life, I'd be a true hobbyist. That's a pretty big task for just one year, but 'tis a quest I'm willing to embark upon. Come at me senior year, I'm ready.
