This year in Wind Ensemble I hope to establish a good work ethic. I want to practice the music before I know I have an issue with it. However, scales are a more prevalent issue for me. In addition, This year there seems to be an emphasis on scales. So, by the end of the year I want to be able to identify all scales from their concert pitches. More than just recognizing them, I want to know which sharps and flats are appropriate for each scale.
